The Existing Homes Alliance has formed out of a partnership of organisations including AECB, the Association for the Conservation of Energy, Chartered Institute of Housing, the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes, Camco, Environmental Change Institute, the Housing Corporation, Places for People, the Sustainable Development Commission, the Sustainable Energy Academy, UCL The Bartlett and WWF-UK.

The network has now grown to encompass a wide range of organisations, including both experts and practitioners in the field of existing housing. All share the goal of making sustainable, low carbon homes a reality across the whole of the UK’s housing stock.

The Alliance Steering Group provides a practical and coherent focus for transforming the UK housing stock by lobbying government, engaging with stakeholders and demonstrating best practice.

The Alliance is chaired by WWF-UK which also runs the secretariat.

We invite all organisations to support our efforts to transform our existing housing stock by signing up to our Declaration on the Future of Existing Housing
